STEP 3: Uploading your Web page to the Sympatico Webspace server

This step assumes you have already completed STEP 1: Making your Web page and STEP 2: Checking your Web page.

To put your page in your personal Webspace, you must transfer your Web page(s) to your directory on the Sympatico Webspace server. This procedure is called uploading. First, read our general information on uploading files with FTP software.

Please note that the Sympatico Service does not support Microsoft FrontPage extensions. This means that you will not be able to upload your page with Microsoft FrontPage. (You can, however, use MS FrontPage to make your Web pages, but you'll have to use separate ftp software to upload your Web pages.)

Upload settings

To upload to your personal Webspace, you will need your Sympatico personal account information (User ID, password, etc.).
