Netscape Navigator 2.0 and 3.0 include a newsreader for reading and posting messages to newsgroups.

To open this newsreader, click the Window menu, then click Netscape News. You will see a window divided into three panes.

Clicking a newsgroup listed in the Newsgroup pane will display its list of articles in the Article list pane. Clicking an article listed in the Article list pane will display its contents in the Article pane.

You won't see any newsgroups listed in the Newsgroup pane unless you are subscribed to some.

Each pane can be re-sized by dragging its borders with your mouse.
