Mail with Outlook Express

Microsoft Internet Explorer doesn't allow you to send and receive e-mail, but its sister application, Outlook Express, does. Although Outlook Express is a separate application that can run without Internet Explorer, the two programs are connected almost seamlessly.

To start Outlook Express

If Microsoft Internet Explorer is open, click the Mail button on the toolbar (click and hold with Macintosh), then select Read Mail from the menu that pops up. Outlook Express will open.

If Microsoft Internet Explorer is not open, double-click the Outlook Express icon, which is on your desktop with Windows 95, and in the Sympatico Internet folder with Macintosh.
