Plug-ins included with the Sympatico Software
The following plug-ins are automatically installed when you install the Sympatico software in Windows. With Macintosh, only LiveAudio and Quicktime are automatically installed.
Shockwave
Shockwave gives you movies, animations, interactive games, slide-shows,
streaming audio, and
background music.
Quicktime
Apple's latest plug-in delivers digital video and audio over the Net.
It also lets you view scenes in 360-degree perspectives. By clicking and
moving your mouse, you can "move around" an image, which gives you the
feeling of being in a space. It works on Windows, too!
Cosmo Player
The Cosmo Player plug-in is used for viewing virtual reality in VRML 2.0.
LiveAudio
The LiveAudio plug-in allows the playing of sounds right from the Web
page.
