The Sympatico Starter Kit includes software which supports e-mail, Web browsing, FTP file transfer, Gopher file retrieval, and access to Usenet newsgroups. With internet access through the Sympatico service you can also use telnet, ARCHIE, Veronica, Wais and IRC applications. But software is not provided for these applications, and the Sympatico service does not maintain servers for these applications.

Please note that the Sympatico service does not provide shell accounts or telnet login capability.
