A home page is the first screen, or window you see when you connect to the Internet.
It's also called the 'start' page, and is the page displayed when you click your browser's Home button. You can make just about any page on the Internet your 'start', or 'home' page.

You can personalize the Sympatico start page, then you can set your personalized Sympatico page to be your home page by changing your browser's settings. After you've done this, your personalized Sympatico page will be the first page you see each time you connect to the Internet. You can always get back to your home page by clicking the Home button on your browser's toolbar.

1. Click the Edit menu, then click Preferences.
2. Click Navigator.
3. Under Navigator starts with, click Home page.
4. In the Location box (Home Page Location box with Macintosh), type the Internet address (or URL) of the Web page you want to make your home page. For example, the URL of your personalized Sympatico home page is http://www.sympatico.ca. To use the page your browser is currently displaying, click the Use Current Page button.
5. Click OK.
