Need to know what your Sympatico Internet software settings should be? Travelling elsewhere in Canada and want to access the Sympatico service? So long as you know the phone number of the phone line you are using (or will be using) to dial from, you can find out what your Internet settings should be so you can access the Internet using your Sympatico account (this lookup cannot tell you your Sympatico User ID or Password settings - click if you've forgotten them).
Follow the five steps below.

This settings lookup page accesses the same settings information used automatically by the Sympatico roaming software. (You can also use this Settings Lookup to display a complete list of all Sympatico dialup locations and settings in Canada - see Step 5.)

Step 1: Where are you calling from?
Type the area code and phone number of the phone line that you will be using to connect to the Sympatico service. If you do not know the number, you must at least enter the area code. If you enter only the area code, settings for all Sympatico dialup locations within that area code will be displayed.

Step 2: Multiple roaming locations (optional)
You can get settings information for up to four other dialup locations by typing the area codes and phone numbers of the phone lines you will be using to connect.

Step 3: Sort the results
Choose how you want the results to be sorted. If you do not make a selection, the results will be displayed in no particular order.

By city name
By Sympatico service provider
By Province/Territory

Step 4: What settings do you want?
Choose what settings information you want displayed. Normally you will want to see all the information.

• Show dialup location, number and modem speed (always appears)
