Print this page (or have a friend print it) to have it at hand when you change your settings, since you'll have to be disconnected from the Internet to do so.

• You will need the following pieces of information before you continue.
  • User ID - it is a mix of numbers and letters, like b1wxyz99. (If you are a MTT or Northern Telephone customer, your User ID is your e-mail prefix - the part of the e-mail address before the @.)
  • E-mail address (how to find out what your e-mail address is)
  • E-mail password. This should not be changed if you are roaming.
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP) address.
  • Incoming mail server (POP) address. This should not be changed if you are roaming.
  • Newsgroup server (NNTP) address. If you are roaming, you only need to change this if you want to read newsgroups while roaming.

To set up Eudora Pro manually

1. Close all programs or windows currently opened.
2. Start Eudora Pro.
3. Click the Tools menu, then click Options.
4. Click Getting Started.
5. In the POP Account box type your username followed by the @ symbol and the incoming mail server.
6. In the Real Name field, type your name. This name will be displayed in all outgoing e-mail messages.
7. Under Connection Method, make sure that Winsock is selected.
8. Under the Category section, click Hosts.
9. In the SMTP field, enter the Outgoing mail server.
10. Leave both the Ph and Finger boxes empty.
11. Click OK.

Eudora Pro is now configured to send, receive and read e-mail messages.
