(TORONTO, Ontario) - August 14 , 2002. On the weekly Sympatico-Lycos Top 10, Anna Nicole Smith takes the number-one spot this week as she attempts to re-new her stardom with her own reality television series. In other entertainment news, crop circles make the number-two spot as movie goers search the net for a reasonable explanation for the crop circles that are the premise of Mel Gibson's new film "Signs". Also on the Top 10 this week "Blue Crush" - a story of three surfer girls due out in theatres on August 16.
In seasonal searches herbs make the list at number four and peaches at number five as on-line Canadians look for help with their green thumbs and fruit harvesting. Ontario cottage sales, a search term that has made frequent appearances on the list during the summer, make the number-seven spot as on-line prospective cottagers look for the best location to buy. The Festival of Friends makes the number 10 spot after a weekend full of Canadian musical talent and crafts that concluded this past weekend in Hamilton.
